B.A., Sociology and Politics & International Affairs, Wake Forest University

Katie graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Sociology and Politics & International Affairs, concentrating in Crime and Criminal Justice, from Wake Forest University. While at Wake Forest, she launched her governmental consulting career through internships with firms at both the state and federal levels. In 2016, Katie officially joined Gamble and Schlemeier full-time, where she works with over 100 clients across a diverse array of policy areas, including education, emerging technologies, health care, business, economic development, and transportation.

 

In addition to her work at Gamble and Schlemeier, Katie serves as the Executive Director of the Missouri Railroad Association, the Executive Director of the Independent Colleges and Universities of Missouri, and the Executive Director of the Missouri Broadband Providers. Her leadership in these associations allows her to advocate for and support industries critical to Missouri's economic and infrastructure development.

 

Katie also has significant experience in association management, acting as a liaison between state and national organizations. She is honored to have been recognized in the Missouri Times 30 Under 30 and currently serves on the board of the Friends of the Missouri Governor’s Mansion. Strategically located in Kansas City, Missouri, Katie is positioned to better serve the firm’s clients throughout the state and beyond.
